The Secretary to the Gombe State Government Professor Ibrahim Abubakar has charged members of the Gombe Integrity Group to be resolute and decisive in their quest to help actualize the second term bid of Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya in the forthcoming 2023 general election.
The SSG stated this when he received members of the group led by its chairman Abdullahi Jalo (Castic) who were at the Government House to pledge their loyalty and readiness to support the second term ambition of the State Governor.
Professor Njodi told his guests that inspite of paucity of funds bedeviling the State, the administration of Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya was able to substantially accomplish his campaign promises and even initiated so many to meet with current realities.
He charged members of the group not to be swayed by empty political rhetorics especially as campaigns gets underway but to be focus and determine knowing fully well that Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya has distinguish himself in the provision of the dividends of democracy.
“The Governor has done exceptionally well in the provision of infrastructure in both urban and rural communities. So campaigning for His Excellency will be a smooth sailing because the present administration has many things to show and to talk about”.
Professor Njodi intimated the visiting integrity group members that the Governor is appreciative of its activities and is committed towards working with the group and other groups with same agenda and mission.
Earlier speaking the chairman of Gombe Integrity Group Abdullahi Jalo (Castic) said they were at the Government House to show support and solidarity to the administration of Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya over his pro poor policies of changing the lives of the ordinary people.
He said the Group is deploying both digital and analogue campaign mechanisms to support and followership for Governor Inuwa Yahaya second term ambition.
Abdullahi Jalo reveals that membership of the group cut across all the 11 Local Government Area’s of the State with a view to registering its presence in all the nooks and crannies of the State.
Others members of the group who took turns to ventilate their admiration for Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya were inspiring in their submissions.
There were strong words of encouragement and solidarity from the Commissioner of Youth development Abubakar Aminu Musa and his Commerce Trade and Industry counterpart Nasiru Mohammed.
