
The people of Tanglang district in Billiri Local government area of Gombe State says the resumption of work on the Sabonlayi, Kulgul Ayaba road is a clear testament that present administration in the state is committed to the welfare and well being of the people.
The District Head of Tanglang Malam Audu Tahir stated this when he led a delegation from the Community on courtesy visit to state Commissioner of Works and Transport Engr. Abubakar Bappah.
Malam Tahir said the importance of the road to the socio-economic development of Tanglang and it’s surrounding communities is huge adding that the people Tanglang will continue to remain grateful to the Inuwa Yahaya’s led administration.

While congratulating Engr. Abubakar Bappah on his appointment as the commissioner of Works and Transport, the traditional ruler appealed to the state government to look into the possibility of taking over the Community Secondary School Kulgul.
Responding the state Commissioner of Works and Transport Engr. Abubakar Bappah said the Inuwa Yahaya’s administration is committed to opening up the state for economic activities through the kilometer eleven hundred.
He said in addition to the kilometer eleven hundred, government is partnering with the World Bank to construct at least five to seven hundred kilometers of road across the state.
The commissioner thanked the people of Tanglang for the visit and assured them that the on going road construction linking Sabonlayi, Kulgul and Ayaba will be completed on record time.
On the request for government to take over the Community Secondary school Kulgul, the commissioner said he will liase with his counterpart on education to look at the possibility.
