The Secretary to the Gombe State Government Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi has tested NEGATIVE of the Covid -19 virus.
The SSG’s test result came few days after Governor Mohammed Inuwa Yahaya issued a directive to all political appointees especially those working in the Government House to go for the test after confirmation emerge that a Director with SSG office died of the Covid-19 virus some days ago.
Reacting to the development the Secretary to the Gombe State Government Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi thanked Governor Mohammed Inuwa Yahaya and well wishers for their show of love support and encouragement.
He equally appreciated the chairman and members of the Gombe State Taskforce on Convid-19 for their professionalism in handling the cases which has led to the closure of the Gombe Government House.
In the same vain, the test results of the chairman Gombe State Taskforce on Convid-19 Professor Mohammed Idris and that of the Secretary of the committee Aliyu Kamara, Principal Private Secretary Government House has also tested NEGATIVE.
