The secretary to the State Government Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi has condoled the family of late Hon.Nuhu Poloma over the passing away of their brother, Father and grand father.
In a Condolance message, Professor Njodi described the deceased as a respected and reliable elder STATESMAN from Gombe State and Southern Gombe in particular.
He said “Honourable Nuhu Poloma was a colossus, a political heavyweight, a father, a mentor, a confidant, and a PHENOMENON, whose exit creates a wide VACUUM that is very difficult to be filled.”
While praying for the soul of the elder stateman to rest in peace Njodi urge the members of the family to be COURAGEOUS, STRONG AND FAITHFUL at this very difficult and trying time of monumental grief.
“You should be consoled and comforted by the fact that Baba is missed by ALL of us and NOT only you. May God, in his infinite mercies, comfort you and lovers of the elder statesman.
“May God give US the courage and fortitude to bear this painful exit of the PILLAR of our families, of our political zone, of Gombe State and Nigeria in general. Adieu Baba!” He added.
Late Honourable Nuhu Poloma serve the nation under the Nigerian Custom Service and join politics after his retirement from Service.
He contested and won the House of representative seat in the second republic representing Billiri Balanga Federal Constituency and was the Chairman of Gombe State People’s Democratic Party (PDP) during Governor Muhammad Danjuma Goje’s era.
Until his Death, Honourable Nuhu Poloma was a member of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Board of trustee (BOT).
