
The Secretary to the Gombe State Government Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi has paid tribute to the Permanent Secretary Government House Yakubu Bajoga who retires after 35 years of service.
In a send forth ceremony organised by the office of the SSG for the retiring Permanent Secretary, Professor Njodi described Yakubu Bajoga as fine administrator who is committed to the realization of set goals.

” I have seen in him hard work, commitment, and sacrifice. Yakubu Bajoga is a trustworthy gentleman and God fearing. He is an individual loaded with vast experience. A goal getter and a performer worthy of emulation”. Njodi stated.
While wishing the retiring Permanent Secretary more fruitful years in his retirement life, Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi said he will continue to consult with Yakubu Bajoga for his wealth of experience.

He called on young civil servants in the State to emulate Yakubu Bajoga who has served the State in different capacities without blemish.
The Director Administration and Finance Government House Abubakar Saidu Haruna and the Special Adviser to the Governor on Media and Publicity Jack Tasha are both colleagues of the retiring Permanent Secretary. They describe him as a administrator per excellence.

They wish him success in his retirement life and said the State civil service will miss him greatly.
The retiring Permanent Secretary Government House Yakubu Bajoga thanked the Secretary to the Gombe State Government for organising the send forth ceremony which he describes as a show of love and togetherness.
He thanked those he had worked with in his 35 years of service to the State describing the experiences gathered over time as rewarding.
During his course of service to the State, Yakubu Bajoga has worked in different capacities including Acting Head of Civil Service.
Highlight of the send forth ceremony was the presentation of gifts by the Secretary to the Gombe State Government Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi.
