The secretary to the State Government SSG Prof Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi has led a government at the instance of Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya to commiserate with some bereaved Families in Kaltungo Local Government Area of the State .
At the residence of Yakubu Lance who passed away recently, Professor Njodi conveyed the heartfelt sympathy of Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya on the demise of the deceased and prayed the family to consider it as an act of the Almighty God.
He reveal that the late Mohammed Lance was a close confident of the Governor who always maintain a high sense of integrity praying for the repose of the soul of the deceased.
Responding on behalf of the family Barrister Bala Yusuf appreciated the show of love of the Government and people of the State for identifying with them in their moment of grief.
Barrister Bala Yusuf noted that though the death of a beloved brother is painful, the family took solace in the knowledge that death is the end of every mortal.
The SSG’S delegation which comprises of Commissioners of Works and Transport, Special Duties, Special Advisers, Permanent Secretary was also at Termana quarters to Condole with Mr. Aminu Ishaku Gonsis over the demise of his Mother Mama Lamunje Ishaku who died last week after a protracted illness at the age of 106 years.
Professor Njodi while conveying the Condolence of Governor Inuwa Yahaya described the pain of loosing a Mother as excruciating urging the family to keep faith in God whose dicision on men can not change.
Response Mr. Aminu Ishaku Gonsis who was a former APC Chairman Kaltungo LGA expressed appreciation for the visit and Commended Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya for identifying with them in their trying moment and prayed God to bless and reward him abundantly.
The team futher visited and commiserate with the family of Baba Sani Kalorgu on the death of his daughter Furera Sani.
Condoling the family, Professor Njodi said the delegation was at the instance of Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya whom he said has close family ties with deceased family for some decades now.
While praying for the reposed of the deceased, the SSG called on the family as believers of Allah to be prayerful as he has decided to call her into Janna.
Responding on behalf of the family Alhaji Abdullahi Sani Na-ibi of Kaltungo Central Mosque thanked Governor Yahaya for sending the delegation to Condole them over their lost and prayed for his success as he pilot the affairs of the State.
He said the family will for ever remain grateful for the show of love by the Government of Gombe State.
