The Secretary to the State Government Prof Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi has led a government delegation at the instance of Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya to commiserate with some bereaved Families in Kaltungo Local Government Area of the State .
At the residence of Mohammed Yakubu Lance who passed away recently, Professor Njodi conveyed the heart felt sympathy of Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya over the demise of the deceased and admonish the family to consider it as an act of the Almighty God.
He reveal that the late Mohammed Yakubu Lance was a close confident of the Governor who always maintain a high sense of integrity and forthrightness.
Responding on behalf of the family Barrister Mohammed Bala Ahmad appreciated the Government and people of the State for identifying with them in their moment of grief.
Barrister Mohammed Bala Ahmad who described the death of his brother as painful, however maintain that the family took solace in the fact that death is the necessary end of every mortal.
The SSG’s delegation which comprises of Commissioners of Works and Transport, Special Advisers, Permanent Secretary were also at Termana quarters to condole with Mr. Aminu Ishaku Gonsis over the demise of his Mother Mama Lamunje Ishaku who died last week after a protracted illness at the age of 106 years.
While conveying the sympathy of Governor Inuwa Yahaya, the described the pain associated with losing a mother as excruciating urging the family to keep faith in God whose decision on the affairs of men can not change.
Responding Mr. Aminu Ishaku Gonsis who was a former APC Chairman Kaltungo LGA expressed appreciation with the visit and commended Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya for identifying with them in their trying moment and prayed God to bless and reward him abundantly.
The team also paid a sympathy visit to the family of Baba Sani Kalorgu over the death of his daughter Furera Sani.
Condoling with the family, Professor Njodi said the delegation was at the instance of Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya whom he described as having a close ties with the family.
While praying for the reposed of the deceased, the SSG called on the family to have faith in the Almighty Allah deemed it right to call her to Janna.
Responding on behalf of the family Alhaji Abdullahi Sani Na-ibi of Kaltungo Central Mosque thanked Governor Yahaya for sending the delegation to commiserate them over their lost and prayed for his success as he pilot the affairs of the State.
He said the family will for ever remain grateful for the show of love by the Government of Gombe State.
