Gombe state Government has donated relief materials to person affected by flood in Garin Malam- Sani of Tukulma Ward in Akko Local Government area.
Presenting the items on behalf of the State Government, the Executive Secretary State Emergency Management Agency SEMA, Abdullahi Haruna Abdullahi convey Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya’s sympathy to the affected households describing the incident as a natural disaster.
He prayed God to prevent such from happening in future.
The executive secretary said Governor Yahaya was touched on hearing the news saying as a leader who is sensitive to the plight of the citizens, directed that succour be brought to victims with immediate effect.
Items presented as explain by Abdullahi Haruna includes; Bags of rice, maize and beans. Other items are blankets, nylon mats & mosquito nets.
Responding on behalf of the community, the ward head of Garin Malam- Sani appreciated Gombe State Government under the leadership of Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya for coming to the aid of the victims saying that the item will go a long way in reducing the suffering of the affected households.
