…..Assures of a hitch free North East Governor’s Forum meeting.
All is now set for the 7th edition of the North East Governor’s Forum meeting taking place in Gombe the State capital.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the Technical Working Committee of the Forum, the chairman of the committee and secretary to the Gombe State Government Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi assures of a hitch free meeting of Governors from the North East.
He said the Gombe State Government under the leadership of Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya has advance every necessary arrangement to ensure that participants to the meeting feel at home while the meeting lasts.
The chairman of the Technical Working Committee explains that the State have equally activated a robust security network to wade off any security breach that could arise before during and after the meeting.
Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi observed that the little beginning of the Forum has assumed National and International dimension.
“We started as the first and the meeting has gone round the other five States the 7th one is coming up as you can see the Technical committee is responsible for putting everything in place so we have already done that one to the best of every resources we have and to the best of our ability ready for our principals”
Members of the technical working commitee is chaired by Gombe SSG who equally doubles as chairman North East SSG’s forum.
Present at the Technical Working Committee meeting are the SSG of Adamawa State Malam Bashir Ahmed, representative of the DG North East Governors Forum and other members representing various state of the zone.
