Gombe State has again reiterated willingness to partner professional organizations in it’s quest to provide quality health care system for the people.
The Secretary to the Gombe State government, Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi gave the indication Tuesday when he played host to the State chapter of the National Association of Nephrology Nurses at the government house.
Professor Ibrahim Njodi said partnership with Professional health practitioners will help complement government effort in health care services delivery in the state.
He expressed delight with the association’s ability to attract the hosting of the association’s National Conference in Gombe State.
While commending the association for it’s activities especially in ensuring professionalism among members, Professor Njodi assured them of all the necessary support by the state government to guarantee successful hosting of the conference in September.
Earlier,in his submission the chairman local orgarnising committee of the conference,Comrade Baba Lawan Giade had described as commendable the massive infrastructure being provided by Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya led administration especially in the health sector.
Comrade Giade noted that the upgrade and esteblishment of additional health facilities has set the state apart from its peers in the country towards improving the health of the people.
He also said the visit was to intimate the state government preparations for the association’s upcoming National conference and as well solicit for support.
Comrade Giade added that the choice of Gombe state to host conference was informed mainly by priority accorded to the health sector and the peaceful nature of the state.
The event was attended by Honourable Commissioners, Advisers and other top Government officials.
