Gombe State Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya has condole with the special Adviser on Rural Development, Mohammed Shetima Gadam, members of his immediate family and the entire Gadam community over the demise of Hajiya Habiba Shetima who died at the Age of 85 years.
Conveying Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya’s sympathy shortly after attending the funeral prayers of the deceased in Gadam kwami Local Government Area according to Islamic rites, the Secretary to Gombe State Government (SSG) Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi said the Governor was sadden on receiving the sad news but, was quick to add that as mortals “we are all destined to experience death some day calling on the family to take heart and accept the will of Allah”
The SSG who led a high powered government delegation includes members of state house of Assembly, commissioners, special Advisers and other top Government officials also noted that, the State has lost a mother at a time when her advice is highly needed.
He described late Hajiya Habiba Shetima as a true example of motherhood having mothered and nurtured responsible children such as a special Adviser who has been contributing towards the development of the State.
Special prayers were offered for the reposed of the soul of the deceased.
